Privacy policy

How we handle your personal data under UK GDPR — cookieless analytics, minimal collection, your rights laid out plainly.

Last updated: 22 April 2026.

1. Who we are

Omni Shine Cleaning ("we", "us", "our") is a cleaning service based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, founded and operated by Sangita Chavda. Our contact email is info@omnishine.co.uk. We are the data controller for any personal data you provide to us through this website.

2. What we collect

When you use our quote form we collect:

We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider, Cloudflare Web Analytics, is privacy-preserving and does not identify individual visitors or store cookies on your device.

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We process this information under Article 6(1)(b) of UK GDPR — to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (preparing a quote), and to perform that contract if you engage us. For the consent checkbox on the form we rely on Article 6(1)(a) — your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing partners.

5. International transfers

Our processors (Cloudflare and Resend) are US-based. Transfers are covered by their UK GDPR-compliant data processing agreements and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are retained for up to 24 months. If you become a regular client, we retain correspondence for the duration of the service relationship plus 24 months for legal and accounting purposes. Delete-on-request always available.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to: access your data, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict processing, object to processing, and have it sent to another controller (portability). To exercise any of these rights, email info@omnishine.co.uk. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

All submissions are sent over HTTPS. We use Cloudflare Turnstile and a hidden honeypot field to prevent spam and abuse. Emails are stored in mailboxes protected by strong passwords and 2FA.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113.
